St. Patrick's Day

On the 17th March 2023, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day at school. The children dressed in green and many had shamrocks painted on their faces. The children listened with interest as the story of St Patrick's life was told. They also learnt the irish folk song "Molly Malone" and danced an irish jig. The parents really out-did themselves again, providing a wonderful green buffet of delights including cakes, muffins, jelly and vegetables.
