Visit from the Schoofwäscher Carnival Group

On Thursday the 26.1.23, the local carnival group "Die Schoofwäscher" roughly translated as the "sheep washers", came to visit us and explain their history, their costumes and traditions to the chidlren. We sang some songs and played "Klepperle", a traditional hand held wooden instrument specific to this region of Germany. Of course there were lots of sweeties thrown in as well!
