Having told the children that the chickens needed a frost blanket to protect them during the winter, 4 children from class 2 had the wonderful idea to sell waffles to raise money for the cause. They raised €122 which almost entirely covers the cost of this blanket. Well done kids, we're very grateful to you for your hard work and dedication and the chickens are too!!
